About

If I'm not creating, I'm hanging out with my wife, playing silly games with my kids or out in the woods exploring.

Chad Langhoff

In 2006, I received my Graphic Design degree from Carthage College. My first job was with my alma mater where I did print design, managed interns, and learned photography. Four years later, I started an amazing job with Snap-on, where I worked for three years creating marketing pieces for Franchisees, corporate event signage, in-house museum displays, NHRA Funny Car design schemes, and numerous other projects. In 2012, I left Snap-on and became a freelancer where I have taken some amazing opportunities designing various projects and shooting photography for several non-profits, corporations, small businesses, large-scale events, long-term coverage of a CEO, and entrepreneurs of all kinds. In 2019, I overlapped my freelance business by taking a full-time position as a Graphic Designer and Videographer at The Law Offices of James Scott Farrin. Currently, I live in Charlotte and work for an embroidery company called Anita Goodesign where I handle their digital marketing and email campaigns.

I currently balance my day job with personal creative work, like painting and minimalist print design, which, at one point, lead to the creation of my Hope Delivered® storefront. Besides creating art for myself, I enjoy volunteering at my local church as a photographer and going on adventures in the woods with my family.

My creative approach—no matter the project—is to begin with the client's needs and “why” first. Once I "get in their head" and completely understand the goals of their project, needs of their target market and overall desired voice, I'm able to put together mood boards to ensure we're all on the same page, visually. Once we're all in agreement, from there I create several concepts and we revise the project with open communication until the project is perfect in the clients' eyes.
